The Republican and Democrat parties have had a stranglehold on our politics for far too long. They are literally tearing our country in half with their partisan bickering and their gerrymandering. Every time Republicans or Democrats carve out "safe" districts, our country gets less democratic. 

How can we turn things around and make elections about issues again? How do we give people real choices at the ballot box again, instead of just telling people "R or D, and that's it!" Glad you asked. 

By electing an Independent at the County level, someone who is not beholding to the Party Bosses of either party, you'll be sending a clear message to BOTH parties that you've had enough. That you want elected officials who will listen to the people for a change, not the millionaires and billionaires who are running this country. 

One reason the Rs and Ds have dominated our politics for over 100 years now is that they are being funded by the millionaires and billionaires who want policies that benefit them, not us. For decades now, that's exactly what the major parties have delivered. Campaigns take money, and the big parties have access to big money. Joe is pledged to only accept donations from regular citizens. Not millionaires. Not corporations. But he does need donations to win.
